There is no finish line
I’m Sam Tamplin. I run an event lighting & rigging rental business in the UK, and have raced long distances — marathons, ultras, open water, and in 2020 and 2021 an Ironman. I love tinkering with technology, and reading books on business, philosophy and biographies.
This is where I keep my writing. Mostly race reports and things I worked out the hard way.
My mind whispers “there is no finish line” at the end of every race, and despite it sounding negative, it has become a source of strength.
